Nmn powder General Description
beta-Nicotinamide mononucleotide powder (1094-61-7) is a product of the extracellular Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (eNAMPT) reaction and a key NAD+ intermediate. It ameliorates glucose intolerance by restoring NAD+ levels in HFD-induced T2D mice.
It also enhances hepatic insulin sensitivity and restores gene expression related to oxidative stress, inflammatory response, and circadian rhythm, partly through SIRT1 activation.
Nmn powder (1094-61-7) History
Beta-Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) powder is an intermediate of NAD+ biosynthesis produced from nicotinamide through nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) and also referred to as NMN or nicotinamide ribotide. In recent studies of NMN applications to prevention and diagnosis of age-dependent diseases such as diabetes, neurodegenerative disorder, cardiac disease etc., it has become one of hottest biomarkers on discussion for anti-aging, lately.
Nmn powder Mechanism Of Action
beta-Nicotinamide mononucleotide (β-NMN) is a biosynthetic precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) known to promote cellular NAD+ production and counteract age-associated pathologies associated with a decline in tissue NAD+ levels.
Nmn powder (1094-61-7) Application
Aging cells. Indeed, past work in Imai’s lab has shown that giving beta-Nicotinamide mononucleotide to older mice has beneficial effects on metabolism throughout the body, including positive effects in skeletal muscle, liver function, bone density, eye function, insulin sensitivity, immune function, body weight, and activity levels.
